Megan Burke | Principal

Megan has nearly a decade of experience on Capitol Hill, culminating with several years as a senior House leadership aide. Megan joined The Petrizzo Group from the House Republican Conference and Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington working closely with the House Energy and Commerce Committee and House Ways and Means Committee to advance policies critical to a range of stakeholders in the health care industry. With a keen understanding of Congressional procedure, the intricate health care landscape, and an evolving political environment, she is known for successfully leading and coordinating legislative efforts over the finish line to deliver results for clients.

She began her career on Capitol Hill with Representative Barletta of Pennsylvania working on health care, education, labor, defense, veterans, and his work on the House Education and Workforce Committee. Megan then became the Health Policy Advisor and Legislative Director for Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, where she worked extensively on issues related to education. Notably, Megan led the bipartisan effort of our nation’s Teaching Health Centers Graduate Medical Education Program securing a reauthorization and 100 percent increase in funding for the program to train our next generation of doctors. She also spear headed successful effort to include two crucial improvements to the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act ensuring individuals with disabilities can lead fulfilling, independent lives.

Megan graduated from the University of South Florida. She currently serves on the executive board of the National Down Syndrome Society.
